Accounts & Contact Lens Specialist

Mrs Tina Bayliss has been a valued member of the practice for over 14 years, bringing dedication, experience, and a genuine passion for patient care. She has a particular love for working with contact lens patients and serves as our main Contact Lens Advisor, providing expert guidance, support, and follow-up care to ensure patients achieve the best possible comfort and vision.

In addition to her clinical role, Tina also works within the administrative office, where her excellent organisational skills and in-depth knowledge of the practice help ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.

Her long-standing commitment, friendly manner, and specialist expertise make her a trusted point of contact for both patients and colleagues alike.

Miss Aisha Saleem
Junior Optical Assistant

Aisha Saleem has been part of the practice for over three years, having first joined us at a young age through work experience. She quickly developed a genuine passion for the optical profession, which led to her becoming a valued member of the team.

Aisha is often the first point of contact for our patients, providing a friendly and welcoming greeting, managing patient sign-ins, and carrying out pre-screening procedures with care and professionalism. She is also involved in junior dispensing, with a particular focus on frame styling advice and single-vision prescriptions, helping patients choose frames that suit both their visual needs and personal style.

Her enthusiasm, approachability, and developing clinical knowledge contribute greatly to the smooth running of the practice and to a positive patient experience from the moment patients walk through the door.

Mrs Farjona Begum

Dispensing Consultant

Mrs Farjona Begum has been a dedicated member of the practice for over five years and is now a Senior Optical Assistant. Having joined the company as a junior, she has progressed through all levels of training with outstanding commitment and professionalism, achieving each stage to a high standard.

Today, Farjona is an expert in dispensing at all levels, providing knowledgeable and personalised advice to patients. She has a particular focus on children’s dispensing and care, where her patience, attention to detail, and friendly approach help ensure young patients feel comfortable and well supported throughout their visit.

Her strong work ethic, clinical knowledge, and caring manner make her a highly valued member of the team and an important part of the patient experience within the practice.

Mrs Andreea Iliescu

Practice Manager & Dispensing Consultant

Mrs Andreea Iliescu has been a valued member of the practice for over eight years and currently serves as our Practice Manager. With more than 20 years of experience in the optical field, she brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and professionalism to the practice.

Andreea is highly skilled in dispensing at all levels, with a particular focus on high and complex prescriptions, ensuring patients receive tailored solutions that combine optimal vision, comfort, and aesthetics. Alongside her strong technical expertise, she is known for her exceptional customer service skills, helping to create a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centred environment.

Holding a degree in Management, Andreea oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice with precision and care, supporting both the clinical team and patients to ensure the highest standards of service and professionalism are consistently maintained.

Mr Abdul Rahim

Locum Optometrist, CL Specialist

Mr A Rahim is our second main optician and has been a valued permanent locum with the practice for the past five years. With extensive clinical experience and a patient-focused approach, he plays a key role in delivering high-quality eye care to our patients.

He has a particular expertise in contact lenses, including advanced fittings, and is highly experienced in myopia control for children, helping to manage and slow the progression of short-sightedness from an early age. In addition, he routinely carries out post-operative cataract checks, ensuring patients receive thorough follow-up care and optimal visual outcomes after surgery.

His calm manner, attention to detail, and commitment to ongoing care make him a trusted and integral member of our clinical team.

Mr Naushad Abba

Senior Optometrist

With a career spanning nearly four decades, our principal optometrist brings exceptional expertise, dedication, and trust to our practice.

A graduate since 1986, he has devoted over 25 years to hospital-based work with children, developing a deep understanding of paediatric eye care alongside comprehensive clinical experience. He has been an integral part of our company for more than 35 years, contributing to its growth, reputation, and continued excellence.

Renowned for his clinical skill, compassionate approach, and clear communication, he is our resident optometrist and the professional most frequently requested by patients—an enduring testament to the confidence and loyalty he inspires.
